All the hype about how to lose weight is overwhelming. It seems as if everyone has an opinion for the best way to lose weight. The media has their paid experts to reassure us they surely know more then the rest of us. Oh and the infomercial crowd well they are preeminently qualified to do what; …..grab our money. So how do we really lose weight safely and responsibly?
We have all heard the old adage “You can’t see the tree through the forest” well in this case we can’t see the truth through the fog of deceit.
Being in the health truth business I rarely come across anyone expounding health truth without having an ulterior motive, namely personal gain, and so it is with weight loss, it is about making money .
We tend to make problems bigger and mightier then they really are. I have found with my profound wisdom (don’t I wish) that simpler is better and so it is with losing weight.
Putting aside the people who are honestly handicapped in their weight loss endeavor by a real health condition that is prohibiting weight loss and need to seek professional help, the idea of losing weight is remarkably simple.
1. Eat 4 or 5 small (1/3 the size of regular portion) meals per day rather then the customary 3 large meals. This allows your metabolism to work more efficiently and allows your digestion to ‘catch up’ and not get backed up in your stomach.
2. Eat organic produced eggs and meat everyday without exception. Don’t fry any food; period.
3. No pasta, no pasta, no pasta.
4. Eat a lot of organic green vegetables. If you need to use a dressing use organic olive oil.
5. Eat fruit sparingly since fruit contains natural sugars and sugars of any kind should be kept to a minimum.
6. Limit snacks between meals to a hand full of mixed nuts, banana or yogurt. No deserts! Try not to snack at all! Avoid processed food like the plague! No hormones, additives, man made junk.
7. Drink as much clean water (no public tap water) as you can without becoming bloated. Keep a bottle of water with you throughout the day.
8. Alcohol is to be limited to a glass of wine during dinner.
9. Walk your way to better health. Walk as much and as often as you can without over exertion and without physical pain. Did I mention walking is great!
10. You must believe in yourself. You must have the burning desire within to outwardly lose the weight.
11. Cleanse your body of toxins and accumulated waste that is pasted on the wall of your colon. Your stomach will become flatter and you will lose substantial weight just by cleaning out all that gunk.
I also highly suggest taking a Quality Natural Supplement so to be sure you are getting all the necessary nutrients in addition to what food you are eating.
12. Take it slow! Don’t expect to become thin overnight. Except this program to lose weight as a lifestyle change not as a quick fix to the problem.
Now I didn’t mention many foods such as rice, fish, grain etc. for the simple reason I didn’t want to become bogged down with a multitude of different food. Suffice it to say the essential key to weight lose is limitation. Follow the suggestions I outlined above and as you begin to see weight lose and muscle tone improve you can safely add small proportions of different food to your diet.
If you are morbidly overweight or if you are inflicted with a disease such as diabetes or heart disease than you need to seek a professional before implementing any weight loss program.
