Haiti is Showered With Love

Everything that needed to be said about this natural disaster has in one way or another been said so i will wonder off the beaten path to make a point unrelated and yet surprisingly relevant.

Natural disasters are completely and unalterably unpredictable and yet we are always without exception left in the after mass pondering what we could have done to prevent the disaster and than the politicians jump head first in giving away our money.

The last time I checked their were thousands of non for profit organizations who are out in the real world helping and assisting the truly needy day after day with no fan-fare because they do what they do with a humble heart. These wonderful people are committed to helping where ever disaster strikes without concern for their on safety in many instances. They aren’t looking for accolades or public recognition only in getting help to where it is needed. This kind of benevolence is repeated day after day throughout the world by kind loving people just doing what they know in their heart is the right thing to do.

I don’t want to appear callus but did you notice that when a natural disaster occurs certain entertainers hold press conferences or leak to the press that they are giving X amount of dollars to the relief effort? Well I have and frankly it is troubling in the sense these arrogant fools can’t keep their well doing to themselves. Are we to love these people more because of their good deed? It seems to me if you have the means to donate to any worthy cause regardless of the amount that should be a private affair between you, the recipient and God.

Speaking as an American I can say unequivably the American people are giving and generous and aren’t seeking a pat on the back. They have a warm heart and by their nature they love to help their fellow human beings. Small but yet sacrifical gifts have poured in from all parts of the world from so called ordinary folk who just want to help their fellow humans in Haiti. No press conference was called, no national media outlet tauted the great deed, no public recognition what so ever and yet these loving caring people made their donation never the less.

The politicians and the celebs as well as the rich and famous can learn from us ordinary folk who just live our lives the best we can and when someone needs our help we reach out gladly and without false pretense not seeking gratification but rather a true act of love and genuine caring. It isn’t about how much you give, it is about how much you love to give.

The Light Police Are Coming

I’m totally sick and tired hearing about going green. It has become a catch all phrase for all things politically correct concerning our living environment.

Big corporations are falling over themselves to fall in line to show a dubious public that they care about you all. Small ‘mom and pop’ businesses on the other hand are slow to ‘upgrade’ to a much more expensive proposition.

Our illustrious politicians are considering implementing new mandatory guidelines to meet world treaty demands. The world continues to turn and the sun continues to rise and set and God still is in command but the cry to us peons is that if we do nothing we are doomed.

What a bunch of B.S.! The truth is that the United Nations and all associated and willing cronies are out to establish a one world government and ultimately have full and absolute control over our lives.

No i am no whack job conspiracy nut just a realist who can plainly see the real intent of the rich and powerful. The end game is ALWAYS the same with these neocrats and that is POWER and MONEY.

Have you noticed, it is always ‘WE’ have to make changes, ‘WE’ have to sacrifice, ‘WE’ have to adapt, not them, they are above the fray in their private and privileged domain.

Now the big push is for mandatory use of LED light bulbs. Incandescent bulbs are old and antiquated and need to be replaced with these new and simply wonderful ‘Green’ alternative. We are told that they will not burn-out for many years and that their very cost effective and that they will cure cancer…….OOPS; not yet. What the government desk jockey’s won’t tell you is that when dropped they explode emit poisonous gasses. They are extremely expensive and they aren’t as bright as the good old incandescent.


LED bulbs have been on the market for years so we aren’t talking about a new product. What we are talking about is a new push for a product that most Americans simply don’t want. Philips Electronics the leading producer of the LED has recently drastically reduced their prices in order to achieve more sales. Of course if asked their spokesman might tell you that with new technological break-through production costs have been reduced thus a lower retail cost. I believe it is obvious these producers are overstocked and need to cut their inventory even though our government continues it’s massive push for LED.

The American public has spoken with silence at the cash register and now an agitated and power hungry elite are poised to do what they do best, pass another law and be dammed what the citizens want.

Mr. and Mrs. politician you may want to reconsider who really owns this country, great citizens who pay your wages and keep you in office, or you may find the lights going out on your career.

Hooray For The Snow Storm!

The senate is in session this weekend debating Health Care Reform takeover from private enterprise.

As it were a massive and powerful snow storm has hit our capital at a most interesting time stranding our beloved politicians in their plush offices and personal accommadations.

The big push is on by the dems to get a government run health bill passed by Christmas and to save face from the total debachle this bill has become.

Only a few votes stand in the way of victory for the liberals and their ultimate goal of health take over from every American citizen.

Polls have consistantly showed that a majority of Americans do not want a government take over of individual health care but never the less the relentless push continues.

Undeniably, everything the government takes from free enterprise and tries to run for us becomes a burcraratic nighttmare and yet the push continues.

Americans have seen their constitutional rights errode as taxes continue to rise and civil liberties diminish and yet the massive push for more government take over continues.

Only the REAL people who make up this once great country can stand fast and demand ‘No More’ big government intervention. Let us alone to live our lives without big brother taking from us at every turn. Let us do what we do best without OUR government holding our hand and that is build a great nation.

So the push is on to pass this massive health bill with the snow flying and the wind howling and all our senators stuck in Washington to do their dirty deed. How fitting it would be if the snow and the politicians were all pushed out of the capital so ‘We the People can get on with our lives uninpeded. We can only pray.

Another Great Day!

I’m always talking about how important it is to have a lifestyle conducive to maintaining good health. Well here is what I did early this cold windy morning.

First I ate my three eggs with toast with real butter. Had a cup of decaf coffee while I checked my emails.

Walked my two Golden Retriever’s separately in the fields. Actually we run, walk, stop to play, really get the heart pumping. I will do this three times a day each lasting about thirty minutes. The best part of ‘walking the dogs is that i’m outside enjoying the day. I do this regardless of the weather and thouroghly have a great time.

Life is way to short not to enjoy every momment so I DO!

Step back from the mondain and take a serious look at your lifestyle and where you would like to be instead of where you are now.

God gave us only our alloted time here on earth and before you know it your life is but a vapor forever gone.

A happy fullfilled lifestyle goes a long way toward maintaining good health but it’s much more than that it is your ticket to be “Forever Young”.

Natural Supplements Could Cure You

If your currently using prescription drugs and intend to continue using them no matter what, I say too bad for you. It isn’t that prescription will kill you, (they might) or that they will make you sick, (probably will) or that they will cure you of anything, (most assuredly won’t) no too bad for you because your hooked on them.

No miracle just the stuff God gave us to heal ourselves. Oh wait, maybe that is a miracle, hmm……yep a miracle. This ’stuff’ is natural (did you catch that, natural) supplements all God given medicinal herbs and natural nutrients that man had no role in creating.

Now see if this sounds logical to you. Your diagnosed with some dastardly disease and you have a choice to either take your meds made of who knows what and will only mask over your symptoms and will not cure you of anything or take Natural Supplements that actually have the ability to cure your sickness by getting into your bloodstream and keying on specific conditions. Your health will improve and your sickness has the real possibility to be cured.

Still not convinced; well this may sway you from the dark side. Next time you go to a doctor for what is ailing you and the good doctor tells you that you have such and such and that he or she is prescribing X amount of drugs you ask these questions.

Mammogram Reversal

The United States Preventive Service Task Force announced Monday that it recommends against annual mammograms for women age 40 to 49. This is the first time in 20 years the panel has recommended a stoppage or slow down of mammogram use.

The panel maintains that the benefits of testing do not outweigh the “harms” and risks.

Recent research has shown that repeated exposure to mammograms may act as an independent risk factor for breast cancer. While many medical experts still recommend regular mammograms, which take an x-ray like photograph of the breast, to detect small tumors, opposition to the practice is growing. The task force also recommends against teaching breast self-exams for all women.

Cumulative doses of radiation, that is, the build-up of many doses of radiation over time may in fact be a cancer initiator. Common sense dictators that multiple exposures of radiation cannot be conducive to anything about good health. In fact it is harmful to the human body even in small doses.

A non-invasive and non-squishing method for detecting masses in the breast is available.

This method, called Thermography uses thermal imaging to detect “hot spots” in the breast. Thermo graphic detection of these spots is more reliable than mammography because the blood flow pattern changes long before the tumor is large enough to be detected by x-ray.


I fear medical practitioners will continue to subscribe to mammograms since they are easy to administer and generate a great deal of income via the insurance companies and Medicare payments.

I will also add my concerns about any government intervention in this case a government panel of ‘experts’ making some grand proclamation on our behalf for our well-being. There will be much opposition to this ’decry’ mainly from the medical professionals who continue to see mammogram testing as a good tool toward the end of early breast cancer detection.

Pharmaceutical Drug Companies Price Gouging?

At least 3 Democrats in the house and one senator has asked for investigations into why drug companies have increased their wholesale prices on some products..

Analysts believe the looming government take over American Health Care with the suspected government caps on prescription drugs has the drug companies ‘taking a larger profit’ in it’s wake.

The democrats apparently aren’t aware of the free enterprise system in place in the USA for well over 200 years. Any and all commerce is in business to make a profit, hence wealth. There is literally no other reason to risk investing capital in a business enterprise.

However the democrats abhor the idea of free enterprise and the absolute freedom to raise product prices if the market so dictates.

Any government intervention in a public companies business is on the fast track to a government take over of all private enterprise. As witnessed by our blatant take over some car companies and insurance companies. This is what these far left socialists want nothing less then all facets of our life micro managed by a privileged few.

I for one don’t take any drugs what so ever but having said that the drug companies have the right to set their own prices on their products. That is true for any American company no exceptions.

Listen up congress we don’t want you to tell us how to run our business and dictate your fascist ideas upon the people who really run this country. Stay out of our lives and crawl back into your holes whence you came.
